Plan haus assists homeowners through the DA process by helping identify what’s required, coordinating DA stage civil inputs, supporting the engagement of required consultants, and helping prepare DA documentation. Our role is to reduce confusion, duplication, and avoidable delays.
Plan haus is typically engaged once a site survey is available and architectural plans are underway or close to final. This allows us to assist early enough to minimise rework, while recognising that council may still request additional information during assessment.
Plan Haus will review your site and proposal to identify the engineering designs and specialist reports required for your DA. Once engaged, we coordinate those inputs and provide you with the DA documentation ready for lodgement. While council may still request additional information during assessment, you are not left guessing what needs to be prepared upfront.
Most projects are completed within 1-3 weeks, depending on complexity. You’ll receive clear timelines upfront so you always know where your project is up to.
We also provide you with a weekly project update so you're not chasing us.
Yes. It’s very common for councils or certifiers to request additional information during assessment. Our role is to help simplify and manage that process by clarifying what’s being requested, coordinating the required updates or additional documentation, and helping keep the approval moving forward as efficiently as possible.
